Lakefront home just outside of Stanardsville and the Shenandoah National Park in a neighborhood community. Enjoy fishing, hiking, vineyards & breweries, local restaurants, and historic sites. A 35 minute drive to Charlottesville or 30 minutes to Massanutten Resort. Guests have access to all rooms on the main level and second floor. Guests do not have access to the basement. I grew up on this lake so that inspired the name Lake Roots. The home was recently updated and features 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and WIFI. Three bedrooms and one shared hall bathroom are upstairs and the master bedroom with private bathroom and sunroom are on the main level. The public living spaces include a living room, sunroom/TV room, dining room, and kitchen. The house has one smart TV with streaming capabilities but is not hooked up to cable. Outside there is a large lakefront backyard, deck, and screen porch. The 100 acre lake is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing; feel free to bring your own equipment. To maintain the integrity of the neighborhood and abide with local permitting policies; amplified sound/music is never allowed outside on this property. Outdoor camping which also includes RVs and campers is not allowed. The house is accessed by a keypad lock on the front door and I will provide you with your own personal code along with instructions a couple of days before you arrive.
