Your "hideaway" is conveniently situated in the Bluegrass and Bourbon Trail region of beautiful central Kentucky, just a few miles south-west of the eclectic city of Lexington. You are a short walk from Asbury University/Seminary and from the Centennial Park. Keeneland Race Track, The Kentucky Horse Park, UK, and Bluegrass Airport are within a short half hour's distance. The Daniel Boon National Forest, the Ark Encounter and Churchill Downs are each within a 90-minute picturesque drive. The space "Kinlaw Valley-View Hideaway" is tucked beneath a neat brick ranch home in the Talbott community of Wilmore. Access to the "hideaway" is around the south end of the house, and down the concrete pathway (well lit at night), to the back, lower level of the home. Inside the private entrance is a newly renovated comfortable and quiet space for retreat or remote work. The wide open lounge/kitchen/dining area is spacious yet intimate. The main bedroom, en-suite and walk-in closet in addition to the second bedroom with 2 single beds, provide home-like convenience and comfort. (NOTE: All guests must pass through the main bedroom to access bathroom facilities.) Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the renovated portion of the home's lower level. An interior locked door prevents access to/from the home-owner's personal storage area. The spacious back yard and Kinlaw Park (across the street) are available for outside recreation, and the back deck and grill can be made available to guests upon request. (Note: The plastic step pads are to prevent neighborhood cats from accessing the deck. Guests are welcome.) Other things to note Thank you for being considerate. 1. For safety reasons, all over-night guests must be registered with the host through Airbnb. Please make those arrangements when booking. 2. The "hideaway" is advertised as a pet-free space because of severe allergies to animal-fur and dander, and also because future guests anticipate coming into an environment that has been and is pet-free. 3. Smoking and illegal substances are strictly forbidden on the property.
