Description
Try tiny living! Come to the Delaware beach for a unique glamping experience. The Coastal Cruiser is a 1985 Thomas School Bus turned tiny home. Spend your days exploring the Delaware Coast and come home to a rustic Skoolie with a full kitchen & outdoor area. You have access to fire pit, grill, and outdoor seating area. We’ve renovated- there is a bunk bed, and a full bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. The bathroom is in a separate building about 20 ft from the bus. The space The Coastal Cruiser is tucked on the backside of our acre property, near our garden, greenhouse, goats, and chickens. You'll likely hear Ronnie the Rooster crowing before you leave for the beach in the morning. You might see us tending to the nearby garden and animals, but we won't disturb you. Your kitchen has a small refrigerator, a sink, and an RV stove and oven. We stock it with all your basic cooking needs, plates, and utensils. There is now a brand new private bathroom in a separate building about 20 feet from the bus with a shower, toilet, and sink. You can comfortably fit four people with the full size bed in the main bedroom, plus twin bunks in the mid section of the bus. You're welcome to use any of the outdoor area including a fire pit, grill, and benches throughout the property. The entire area is lit by string lights at night, and you have a remote to turn them on and off as well as dim them. We invite you to slow down, log off, and relax here. There is NO WIFI on the bus. There is a Starbucks nearby if you have any work to do. There is air conditioning! The goats are very friendly and love being fed the long grass from behind the bus. We have fresh eggs for sale, just shoot me a message if you'd like any. $5 per dozen, $3 per half dozen, or $1 for a single egg. Guest access You are more than welcome to roam the property, say hello to the chickens, use the fire pit, and enjoy the grill and patio seating right outside the bus. Other things to note There are two large steps to enter the bus. The bed is lifted, and there is a stool in the closet if needed for assistance.
