Our lake house is close to Summersville Lake, historic Fayetteville, and the New River Gorge/Gauley River recreation areas. In a short ten minute drive you can be at the lake. Many attractions are close such as whitewater rafting, zip lining, hiking, rappelling, rock climbing, horseback riding, scuba diving, and kayaking. We have plenty of parking on site with a turn around driveway. The driveway is narrow and steep. Boats/trailers are not able to be accommodated. Four wheel drive could be necessary during winter months with snow. In Summersville, about 15 minutes away, you will find a Walmart and Food Lion. Also some shopping and restaurants are close in Summersville and Fayetteville. We are 5-7 miles from three different boat launches. We are about 20 minutes from the New River Gorge area. We are about an hour from Winterplace Ski Resort.
