As you enter Doc’s Holiday, you will experience the breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. This renovated and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo provides everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Other things to note Please note that this condo is on the 3rd floor with NO ELEVATOR (there are 48 steps to the top). Carolina Beach is a great place to relax. You will find a nice assortment of restaurants and shops. Easily rent beach umbrellas, surfboards and bikes and have them delivered right to the beach in front of the condo. The island also offers surfing (and lessons for newbies), jet-skiing, paddle-boarding (or yoga on paddle boards), and deep-sea fishing. Don’t miss the NC Aquarium during your stay. Fort Fisher and the Carolina Beach State Park offer great walking trails if you want to get off the beach and check out some different scenery. During peak season, the town puts off fireworks every Thursday from the boardwalk. The condo is positioned to have a great view (1/2 a mile from the boardwalk) of the fireworks from the balcony. Every Saturday during peak season, a market takes place at the lake which showcases tons of local artisans. On Sundays, during peak season, an outdoor movie is played at the lake (usually something fun and kid-friendly). Historic Downtown Wilmington is just 30 minutes away and worth a visit. Enjoy the Riverwalk and grab dinner at one of the many restaurants that provide a sunset view over the Battleship. Also off the island is Jungle Rapids Water Park which is a kid favorite. Kids also love Flip n Fly, Battle House, Crossfire Paintball and Nerf, the Children's Museum and much more. Adults may like the Haunted Pub Crawl in downtown Wilmington, Axe throwing at Axes and Allies, or a local brewery/distillery tour. For more suggestions on where to go or things to do just message me!
