Welcome to the peace and tranquility of The York House This property will take your breath away, with the beautifully landscaped grounds and the 100-year-old manor. This home was built in 1920 by Frederick J. Osius, who invented the emulsifying machine. Frederick was also the founder of Hamilton Beach products. The York House is just a short walk from the Village of Ridgeway. The Warm Waters of Crystal Beach is just 5 minutes away. We offer a lovely suite with a private bathroom. The space The York House has 2 bedrooms sleeps 4. This fully renovated home sits on an estate-sized lot with 1 acre of mature trees, flowers, shrubs, and beautiful lawns. Entering the home through the main foyer is a craftsmanship staircase that you just don't see anymore. The bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a king size bed and a Queen size bed. The Front porch is a lovely spot to enjoy the evenings. The courtyard around the back of the home is surrounded by flowers, shrubs. A very private area to just kick back and relax. There is a BBQ in the courtyard. Lawn furniture with sun shelter. Guest access The suite is private from the rest of the house the bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a small Den just off of the bedroom. At the front of the home, there is a lovely veranda a swing bench, with a lounger. At the back of the home, you will find a beautiful courtyard with a potbelly wood stove. the Friendship bike trail is at the end of the street. Ask about our bikes and Paddles boards.
