The Bajada is a carefully curated home that sits on 5 acres of expansive desert landscape, secluded from its neighbors, yet only 5 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree and 12 minutes to the Joshua Tree National Park West Entrance. The space The Bajada, Joshua Tree is a thoughtfully designed, desert refuge on 5 acres of Joshua Tree desert landscape. Our inspired home is located 3 miles east of Downtown Joshua Tree, and just 12 minutes drive to the Joshua Tree National Park West entrance. Each of our home's 4 bedrooms are equipped with a comfortable queen sized bed, dressed with linen and cotton bedding. There are two full baths, one with a tub shower, and one with a standing shower. Our carefully collected living room / dining room space offers breathtaking northward facing views. The exterior faces the back of the Joshua Tree National Park boulders and you can enjoy expansive 360 degree views along with outdoor dining, a pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit! Our neighborhood is very quiet and private with houses that are spread apart, and lots of wildlife on the property. We have multiple outdoor living areas, including outdoor dining and seating areas, you will have plenty of space to soak in the beautiful nature of Joshua Tree. We're lucky to have a variety of flora and fauna on our property, so you're likely to catch a long eared hare in the morning or quail, lizards and other wildlife throughout the day. Please be mindful of the cholla cacti around the property. The house is cooled and heated with split unit A/C units. It stays cool with concrete floors and plaster walls. We have a new tankless hot water heater. The kitchen is equipped with all needed cooking supplies, a dishwasher and wine refrigerator; along with all necessary standard appliances. We include Joshua Tree coffee, a coffee maker and hot water kettle. For indoor entertainment we have a smart Samsung Frame TV, board games, cards and a Marshall bluetooth speaker. We prefer sitting under the stars at night, and spending the days exploring the park, local shops, the Noah Purifoy Museum, the Integratron for a sound bath, and Pioneertown. Guest access You have access to the entire 4 bedroom / 2 bath home on 5 acres of private property! Other things to note This listing includes a jacuzzi and in ground pool. The jacuzzi is always heated and the pool can be heated for an additional fee of $150 per day. There is also an outdoor firepit. We request that you pick up your own firewood. Currently the indoor fireplace is for looks only. It is not safe to use at this time. The kithchen is well stocked, but if you need a dutch oven or roasting pan you'll want to bring your own / pick up a foil option at the grocery store. There are several major grocery store options within 15 minutes of the house, and and several breakfast and dinner restaurant options as well; Kitchen in the Desert, Mas O Menos, Country Kitchen, Joshua Tree Saloon, Crossroads Cafe and a few others.
