The kitchen is fully equipped, the lounge is warm and inviting, and everything is set up for you to relax from the moment you arrive. We’re pet‑friendly too, so your four‑legged companions can enjoy the getaway with you. Fern Lodge sits within Stonham Barns Park, home to cafés, shops, a golf course, fishing lakes, play areas and regular family events. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a family break or a quiet countryside retreat, you’ll find everything you need right on your doorstep. Guest access You’ll have the entire lodge and decking area to yourself, including the private hot tub. Guests also have access to all of Stonham Barns Park’s on-site facilities — shops, cafés, golf, fishing lakes, play areas and seasonal events. Check-in is simple with key-safe entry, and we’re always available by phone or message if you need anything during your stay. Dogs are welcome — please mention them when booking. The hot tub is cleaned and refreshed between each stay. Towels and bed linen provided. No smoking inside the lodge. Quiet hours after 10 pm in respect of neighbouring guests. Perfect for families, couples, contractors or weekend visitors to Suffolk. Other things to note For short breaks of less than 4 days a deposit of £50 is required. Over 4 days, it is £100. The lodge must not be used to charge electric vehicles. The heating is set to come on at 7.30 until 10.30 a.m. and dusk until 10.30 pm. If you require different settings, please let us know. Due to the extortionate cost of power we may have to make an additional charge for heat and light October to March.
