Collie Shepherd Hut on the Somerset Levels

Collie Shepherd's Hut offers a stunning view of the Somerset Levels, situated on a working farm in the small hamlet of Henley between Langport and Street. Collie is nestled in the corner of the owner's field, you have your own private garden area. This is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful evening sunset while relaxing in your wood-fired hot tub with a glass of your favourite wine. Alternatively, you can stargaze and listen to the surrounding wildlife. This truly is the ideal retreat. The space Collie features an open-plan living room equipped with a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Complimentary logs are provided for the BBQ/fire pit, wood-fired hot tub, and wood burner for those chillier evenings and mornings. The kitchen includes a double gas hob, microwave oven and fridge with a freezer compartment. The accommodation offers a comfortable king-size double bed (5’), with all bed linen provided. The shower room is fitted with an electric heated towel rail, wash basin, shaving socket, and flushing toilet, with towels supplied. Collie also welcomes you with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and other complimentary goodies. A welcome folder provides information about local places to visit and explore, as well recommendations for dining and drinking. Dog Friendly We welcome one small, well-behaved dog and provide a doggy pack with bowls, towel, poop bags and treats. When booking, please confirm your dog's breed and name, and be sure to add the pet fee. Note: Although Collie Shepherd Hut is private it is not fully enclosed, so good recall is essential. Guest access Parking is available on-site outside your shepherd's hut. Other things to note You will be adjacent to a working farm, so expect some noise from tractors and animals. We also have dogs that bark, but they are friendly and welcoming. In the paddock in front of your private garden area, are Miniature Shetland ponies quietly grazing. We ask you kindly not feed them, thank you. We are an adults-only retreat and therefore unable to accept babies, infants or children due to the unsuitability of the property and its proximity to the farm.
