Beech at Forda Lodges and Cottages

2 bedroom self-catering lodge with enclosed private garden on a small privately owned site. 10 mins to the nearest beach, 5 miles to Bude, right on the Devon/Cornwall border. Amenities on site are exclusively for guests and include indoor heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub (booking system for both pool & hot tub), tennis court, 4 coarse fishing ponds, games room, children's play area - all set in 17 acres of glorious Cornish countryside. Spa treatments are available on site. The space Beech is our two bedroom Delta lodge, which is set away from most of the other accommodation on site, located and aligned to afford maximum privacy and space. The natural wood interior is airy in summer and cosy in winter. The comfortable sitting room has a TV and DVD player and log effect fire. French doors open out to a timber decked seating area, which has views of the fields (suitable for ball games) and woodland (through which Lamberal Water meanders). The kitchen is fully equipped, including with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. There are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, both situated at the opposite end of the lodge to the sitting area. The lodge benefits from a bathroom with shower only (no bath). Guests have free use of either a gas or charcoal barbecue. Baby/toddler equipment, including cot, bedguards and highchair, is available on request. Pets are welcome in Beech. There is parking immediately outside the lodge for two cars and a 22kw, untethered, pay as you go EV charger available for use onsite.
