The Agriturismo owes its name to Villa Caffarelli, built in the second half of the 19th century, initially arranged on two floors, as evidenced by the photographs, and then raised to three floors in 1909. Giuseppe Saracco, Senator of the Kingdom of Italy, originally from Bistagno, was hosted here, being related to the Caffarelli family. Our family arrived here in Sessame in 2001, beginning the renovation of the old farmhouse that adjoins Villa Caffarelli, from which the apartments of the agriturismo, inaugurated in 2006, were obtained. During the renovation, we maintained the original features such as the ceilings with wooden beams, brick arches, and handmade terracotta sidewalks. These atmospheres of the past are combined with modern needs in our comfortable and functional accommodations with equipped kitchenettes. But if you don't feel like cooking, we recommend the typical restaurants nearby, and we will be happy to book for you according to your preferences. In the surrounding area you can find Canelli with its Underground Cathedrals, the city of Acqui Terme, numerous small villages, gems of the Langa Astigiana such as Monastero Bormida, Roccaverano...
