Perfect for those wishing to discover Muskoka, Re-visit Muskoka, Host family and friends for meals or have some privacy while visiting friends or family on the Muskoka Lakes. Park your car and travel with your own (or rented) boat, park at dock. The space Duke’s Boathouse Apartment is located in a bustling building in the heart of Port Carling. Your private patio is surrounded with greenery for you to enjoy. You have a bbq, live edge bar table, low seats and a fire table to enjoy outside with lots of ability to let the sun in, or keep yourself in the shade. Inside you have a large dining table and eat-at bar. A clean open kitchen with mahogany counters and everything you need to cook great meals. A variety of pots and pans, great knives, blender, coffee grinder, French press, hand mixer, immersion blender - you name it it’s there. Also a large sectional couch and a 64” smart tv to enjoy. The sectional couch also pulls out into a very comfortable queen bed. The primary bedroom has lots of space and a super comfortable king bed. Guest access With a private back entrance and front patio with a bbq and fire table, all of the space is for only you to use. On the patio you are surrounded by a wall of plants, through which you’ll see activity from our local taqueria - Tulo’s which has a patio next door. Tulo’s shuts down at 10pm, so you’ll enjoy the great energy of people outside, but not too late. Guests with children report no issues with sleeping young ones inside while enjoying the private patio outside. Your bedroom window looks out the back of the building on the second floor and offers privacy in the busy little area. With the doors closed and windows open you can enjoy the beautiful lake breeze blowing the curtains and feel as though you’re all on your own, or you can sit on the patio and enjoy privacy while hearing the sounds of summer in Port Carling around you. Keep your own boat on the dock, or rent one locally (book ahead as there is high demand for boats). Enjoy the dock for lounging and swimming.
