There is a pathway to the village at the end of the pathway around the cottage (be very careful in wet weather as the path can be slippery). The garden immediately surrounding the Retreat is also for guest enjoyment - set up a picnic beneath one of the lovely trees on the grass when the weather is fine. Other things to note Discount for stays of multiple nights, and single nights may be available with a surcharge. The driveway is shared with the owner but you have your own single parking space opposite the cabin - owners live in the house up the hill and are on hand if needed, but don't disturb guests otherwise. Note that there are no fences, but there is a fenced verandah. There are extra fees for the use of a portable cot/linen, high chair, and $60 fee for bringing your furry pal which will be requested via Airbnb after booking. (Do note that internet and phone reception in the Dandenong Ranges can be unstable and please understand we have no control over that. If you rely on wifi please bring a backup modem). Also there are power outages from time to time, again we have no control over them but will assist whenever possible with options and advice.
