Our house, “iki oda bir avlu”, is situated in the beautiful, fishing village of Babakale, on the shores of the Aegean Sea. This historic village dates back to the 14th Century, and is famous for its castle, the last one built during the Ottoman Empire. The space Ikioda Biravlu was built in the early 1950s and has recently been renovated to a high standard, whilst retaining its rustic character.
