Only an hour away from Providence, Boston or Hartford, explore all that the Last Green Valley has to offer: downtown Putnam's Antique district, Thompson Dam's lake and hiking trails, Thompson Speedway, wine and beer tastings, or simply relax on Acoustical Haven's 8 acres of tranquility. All are welcome at Acoustical Haven. The space Acoustical Haven is a perfect getaway for couples of any orientation with/or without young children. The carpeted master bedroom has a queen bed, desk, bureau and lots of closet space .The tiled sunroom transitions from a lovely light filled sitting room to a 2nd bedroom with a twin sized daybed and trundle. For family stays with young children, a high chair, changing table and port-a-crib are available upon request. For relaxation indoors, the combined kitchen/living room space is open and spacious with vaulted ceilings, recessed lighting, leather couch, love seat and Roku TV with too many sports and entertainment channels to mention. The suite also includes High speed internet, Sony bluetooth speaker, board games and books . This in-law suite hosts a guitar and keyboard for your musical enjoyment.(If you prefer, they can be tucked away in the walk-in closet) Outdoors, take advantage of the 8 acres of privacy including wooded walking paths, open grassy fields, perennial flower beds and vegetable garden. Sit in one of two rocking chairs on the suite's front porch and marvel at the wildlife that frequents our property. (Turkey, deer, hawks, owls and a variety of other feathered friends). Walk out the back door and lounge on the sunny back deck, roast s'mores over the propane fire table or enjoy grilling a meal on one of the available outdoor grills. (Weber grill or Traeger grill) Towing a boat to take on one of the many lakes in the area? No worries, plenty of space to park it here. There's even a power source available for your RV right behind the in-law suite. Your hosts are available for a guided tour of the property or you can just explore on your own.
