The Youth of Dope Hostel offers a pleasant stay in a traditional stone, renovated mansion. At the bar, the garden or the veranda can enjoy the sea and the sunset. It features an outdoor pool, a shared kitchen, and a massage. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, refrigerator, etc. There are shared bathrooms. We rebuilt a 19th-century Cretan house to create a space that includes guesthouse, offices, and exhibition space. We can never guarantee what you'll find upon arrival. You may find us having parties during sunset, hosting a concert, or even getting tired after a festival ends. As we consider the space our own little paradise, you will not see us leave it very often. Please note, however, that most of us were born and raised in Chania, so we are totally capable of mentoring and advising guests throughout their stay and beyond! Other things to note Potential Moodbreakers: Aiming to be transparent, we must inform you that we are close to the Chania airport. That means most of the day the area is exceptionally serene and quiet, but there are times when you can hear clean planes take off. However, we would call it normal in terms of noise. Another potential outburst of mood for some may prove that our love of events and music concerts. It's always alive here and you never know when you'll meet a party, a concert, or live Cretan Music. Don't worry though, the music is minimized after 12 at the latest. Group bookings: Any party of more than 4 people is considered a group.
