The space This charming farmhouse is perfectly and conveniently located on the east side of Ponca City. With close proximity to Lake Ponca, Kaw Lake, and all of Ponca City, this house is the perfect location for you to unwind, relax, and getaway, without worrying about the hassles of a hotel, neighbors, street noise, or anything else. With newly updated decor and modern-day conveniences, this quaint farmhouse is a perfect choice for your visit to the Ponca City area. Guest access The entire 2 bedroom and 1 bath house is available for use during your stay. The property is located on a privately owned 10-acre farm that is fenced off. It’s quiet and you will have a “country feel” while being less than 2 minutes outside of “town” (city limits). You also won't have to drive down a long dirt or country road to access the property and covered parking for up to 2 vehicles is available. The property owners live a couple miles away and are available if needed but provide the property uninterrupted for your convenience. A 24/7 multi-camera surveillance system is in place for everyone’s safety and protection. Other things to note This house was built in 1930, so it truly is an “old farmhouse”. Careful attention and lots of craftsmanship has gone into the home over the years. Since acquiring the property, the owners have made numerous updates including new HVAC units, updated electrical service, flooring, and much more to make it more comfortable and inviting without losing the charm. It has an added modern feel to the farmhouse, but every effort has been made to maintain the “farmhouse” feel while also ensuring safety and energy efficiency. All this said, it is an older house so part of what’s to love is its age and character! Some of the quirks you might find have to do with the age (for example: sloped ceiling, settling of doors/walls, limited electrical outlets in some places, etc.) You'll still love the charm! The farmhouse sits on a small, private farm. Often, the owners may have livestock on the nearby acreage. Signs are posted to not climb on the fence and to not trespass; please be advised that these signs are posted for a reason. Please respect the rules and property parameters. Animals are cared for as necessary but will be taken care of with little disruption to your stay. Please do not feed animals without prior permission. They can be fun to observe though from the outdoor seating area - many have very fun personalities!
