The space This cozy apartment feels like a warm hug. It is located on the ground floor of a house, accessed by a private, gated entrance. The house is located on the side of a hill which provides views of Portland and the Columbia River. The apartment has a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full kitchen, dining table, sitting area and television. The unique design includes two bathrooms, both with showers. Additionally, there is a large room at the back of the apartment that has a cozy couch, books, games, and puzzles. There is a desk for work from home. Also, there is a patio/deck with a small dining table, chairs and BBQ. Long term guests can utilize the raised beds for gardening in the back yard. Otherwise, there are fresh herbs in the garden for your enjoyment. Guest access The apartment is accessed through a gate on the ground floor. The entrance is private, no other guests will utilize this entrance, however the driveway is shared. The apartment can also be accessed from the garage. Other things to note This unique property is located in a remodeled house built on a hillside offering amazing views to the west. The house is split into two separate units. The unit where you will stay occupies the lower floor of the house. The second unit is a 2-bed 2-bathroom apartment on the upper floor (also available for short-term rental). The upper and lower units of the house are totally separate and have private entrances, separate garages, separate patios, etc. Guests share the driveway, but there is room for several cars. The house/apartment is located next to a road that is pretty busy during the day and quiets down at night, there is moderate traffic noise. Since the space above the apartment is utilized as a rental as well there is potential for noise from foot traffic above. You will need your to use your own login credentials to access streaming services (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Apple TV, etc. ) on the TV.
