Description
Depending on how busy we are, sometimes we let out overnight rooms to friends and allies. Each room has two bunk beds (with full size single mattresses) plus private en-suite shower, wc & handbasin. Rooms 1 & 3 are listed separately, this is the room 1 listing. We are on the ground floor, up a few steps from the street. There is cctv on the external door but nowhere else. You might meet members of our community in the common area: We expect visitors to respect the spirit of our safe space. The space This is a traditional LGBT+ safe space, still used by our community as a sort of community centre and for overnight accommodation. The common area is modelled on a bar, but don't worry, we won't be holding any social nights while Airbnb guests are present! However, you are very welcome to bring back your own drinks and sit at the bar enjoying them. It's a great place for a chat after a long day. Other things to note Note the rooms are small and the en-suites are tight. We regard that as part of their charm, but we would advise anyone looking to spread themselves out, work remotely or generally hang out in their room that they are probably better looking elsewhere for accommodation. Big luggage would also be a problem. The rooms are approximately 3.3m x 2m including the en-suite. Note also that our place is not suitable for children or pets. Electrical sockets in Ireland are the same system as that in the UK. If you are from a part of the world that has a different system, please bring a suitable adapter for your electrical items. Finally we would also emphasise that, being a safe space, we don't publicise our location and we are very careful to restrict entry to the building only to people we know and trust, so we hope you will feel suitably privileged!
