Stay in our cozy homestay located just 11 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park North Entrance and 15 minutes from the Marine Base. This cozy private room has a private full bathroom. There’s a firm, yet comfy queen-sized bed and a beautiful view of the desert. We moved to 29 Palms a couple of years ago and are getting to know it more and more each day. We’re excited to share our gems with you! Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms where travelers come to get away. One of the rooms is a screened semi-private room in the dining area. The master bedroom is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of life. Couples, singles, and friends alike will enjoy resting in the queen-size bed with a firm, supportive mattress, and light duvet. Inside the suite, you'll have access to your own bathroom with a bathtub to soak in after a day out. A writing desk overlooks the desert valley to inspire the adventurer or writer in you. You will have access to the main kitchen where you can make a sandwich before heading into the park or cook a delicious dinner. We provide aromatic coffee and tea for you to enjoy. Feel free to eat in the dining room or outside on the patio. The backyard is perfect for reading, relaxing, and star-gazing. On cloudless nights, you'll be able to see the gorgeous night sky that Joshua Tree is known for. We hope you enjoy the down-to-earth feel you’ll get when you stay with us! Guest access You’ll come in through the keyless front door entrance to your room where there will be a key in the door for your security. The code will be given in the check-in instructions. Common areas are always open to guests please note that quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am and the kitchen is closed for cooking during that time. The backyard is open for guests to relax outside or stargaze. During your stay You'll likely see us during the day or early evening with our toddler and baby. We’ll give you space and are available if you need something! Other things to note Please read carefully to ensure this is the right space for you. Check-in starts at 3:00 pm. Early check-in should be requested in advance. Check-out is 11:00 am. Late check-out is available for an extra $10/hour up to 1:00 pm. We are a hard-alcohol and drug-free environment (beer & wine are okay). No smoking cigarettes or marijuana or vaping on the property. No beef is allowed- do not bring, cook, or eat here as it is against our cultural beliefs. You'll likely see us during the day or early evening with our toddler and baby cooking or cleaning. Our little toddler can be a little rambunctious at times, so please be aware of this when booking. We’ll give you space and are available if you need something! Laundry is available for $10 (wash, dry, and soap). Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. The kitchen is closed from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am for heavy cooking. Feel free to come and go as you please but keep the noise level low during these hours (wear headphones and speak quietly). Please leave your shoes at the door. You may bring and wear clean indoor flip-flops or slippers. We are TV-free for ultimate disconnection. There are 3 other bedrooms with a shared bathroom available for separate booking if needed.
