The Casita has a private entry and large private balcony overlooking Tucson. The 360 views look out upon the Catalinas, the University, and the East Valley. The neighborhood is quiet and quirky, easily walkable/bikeable and about one mile from the UofA campus. Within walking distance are many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, parks, and of course UofA and Banner. The Casita is also close to Reid Park Zoo, Tucson Botanical Gardens, The Loop, the historic “Old Pueblo” downtown, and tons of hiking/biking. We welcome long-stay and short-stay guests, and hope to make your visit to Tucson comfortable and memorable! *Casita del Sol is a second-story apartment-style studio situated on the second story of a single-family home (it is the only portion of the home on the second level). Your entrance, living space and balcony are totally separate from the main house, although you may encounter the homeowners/hosts in passing! Guest access Guests have access to free street parking, a large private balcony, and the entire casita. Access to main house amenities (laundry, yard, grill) available upon request. Other things to note Pack and play, iron, and other items are available upon request. Secure storage for your bicycle and adventure equipment is available upon request. Central air conditioning/heat is controlled in the main house, and guests are welcome to message hosts if the temperature needs to be adjusted in the Casita.
