The other two bedrooms offer restful spaciousness, with queen-sized beds, reading nooks and plenty of closet space. They share a recently remodeled bathroom. This house would be perfect for one family, 3 couples, 6 adults and their kids, or two families with children. Because there is an apartment downstairs, it's not a great fit for families with super rambunctious children, or groups that want to have a good, loud time with music and dancing and singing. It's a 10-15 minute walk up the street to the center of town, which has several great restaurants, fun shops, and everything you need to make your trip enjoyable and easy. The celebrated Farmers Market is on Sundays. Go two more blocks from the center of town to catch the Takoma Metro. A straight walk from the house takes 15 minutes. If you'd rather drive up, there is a large parking lot at the station. There is a charge here, so bring a lot of quarters. The Metro train ride to the beautiful Union Station is just 10 minutes. You can be at the White House, the Mall or the National Gallery in less than 25 minutes. With people living downstairs, it is necessary to keep quiet hours between 10pm and 8am, especially with consideration in the dining room, which is directly over the bedroom downstairs.
