New comfortable cabin in the mountains

Our new cabin with everything you need is a nice starting point for mountain trips and ski trips in Golsfjellet and Valdres on foot, by bike or on skis. 50 meters from the ski slope and the trail network to Tisleidalen Løypelag. You must bring your own bed linen and towels, otherwise it will be what you need. Electricity consumption is read by electronic and you will be sent claims via AirBnb for the actual costs. The cabin must be cleaned and left in the same condition as you took it over. The space The house contains a combined living room and kitchen. Bedroom with double bed and bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom and extra toilet. On the second floor there are 3 loft rooms. Bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds and TV living room. Guest access Hele huset Other things to note Summer trips: 1. Stogofjorden. Follow Hallingshovdveien (the road from the hotel) upwards through the forest. After about 2 km go to the left of Flageslettvegen. Follow this road about 2 km and you see Stogofjorden (a lake) on the left. Same way back. About 8 km 2. Falken. Walk to Stogofjorden. Continue off the same gravel road about 1,5 km or as far as the road goes. Walk the path to the left and follow it slanted upwards. After a while, you'll cross the tree line. Follow the path until Varden at the top of the mountain. About 15 km 3. Tisleia River. Walk down to the hotel and just across the main road. The trail is marked and runs through the woods down to the river. Can go for a round trip but then have to walk a little way along the main road at the end. 5- 6 km. 4. Nystølvarden. Drive a car towards Gol turn left after about 4 km towards Nystølfjellet. Follow the road until the payment signs then keep to the right until you reach a parking lot at Varhøvd. Here is a map of the mountain area Several well marked trails go to Nystølvarden which is 1296 meters above sea level. Feel free to go for a round. Nice hike in high mountain terrain most of the trip. Climbing about 300 meters from 9 km up. 5. Golsfjellet. Drive car towards Gol. Turn right after about 10 km towards Golsfjellet. Follow the road to Storefjell Høyfjellshotell. Park in the top parking spot. Here the trip starts at 1000 meters and you walk in the right flat terrain with nice views in all directions. The path is very well marked and you can choose from 3 km and up. Can be recommended if it is clear weather and not too much wind. 6. Fagernes. Drive to Fagernes about 25 km. Visit Valdres Folkemuseum. Check the website about opening hours etc. before leaving. Can be recommended, especially if the weather is not for a mountain hike. Winter tours: Download the app Sporet and you will get an overview of the huge trail network you have access to right from the cabin. Here you can walk on the flat, through the forest or go up to Nystølvarden on the high mountain.
