The space Our garden apartment is located below the main house which is also a a short term rental. There is a spacious mud room/entry way with hooks and a closet. When you enter the living/kitchen area there will be generous seating, a large coffee table that can be raised for an informal dining area and a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances and conveniences like two different kinds of coffee makers. The basement does not have its own thermostat so the heat is controlled by the upstairs guests. There is a space heater that can be moved between the bedroom to the living/dining area that adequately heats the apartment. The bathroom has a tub/shower and a linen closet. The bedroom is large yet cozy, with a seating area, lots of storage and a walk in closet. Because there is a short term rental unit upstairs guests can expect to hear normal sounds like footsteps, water running, etc. Guest access The entire apartment is private. There is a shared washer and dryer between the upstairs unit and basement unit. There is no shared outdoor space. Other things to note There is no smoking allowed of any kind in this property.
