Relax into the slower pace of river life. We are located on a laid back street where everyone is ready with a friendly wave or a driveway chat. The boat landing is just a mile away. The house is stylish and comfortable. We hope to provide our guest with whatever the need for a few days away. We are in a high PFAs area so bottled water is provided for guest consumption. More information available at: townofcampbellwi website under well-water-pfas-information License number MWAS-D42N9M The space The cottage is spacious with beautifully restored oak floors, vaulted ceilings, wood beams, tiled kitchen and bath, and stainless steel appliances as well as crooked floor, drafty doors and windows that don’t function very well. Please consider this when booking. In the cottage, we’ve opted to work around some of the quirky features so that we can provide you with an affordable yet unique and beautiful stay. If you prefer a more polished, hotel level experience this might not be a great fit for you. There is a television in the living room. The sectional sofa includes a pull out bed. Blinds and curtains in the living room help to darken that space for sleeping. There is a dining table with two chairs as well as counter seating for two. The kitchen features most things you’ll need for a short stay with four people. We don’t supply a ton of extra dishes and utensils because we find that most people just don’t need them when they’re traveling. It helps cut down on clutter. A more complete list is provided under “amenities”. Please note that our county licensing limits what we are allowed to provide. The bathroom has been refinished with a tile surround. We supply two towels per registered guest and are happy to set you up with additional items upon request. We also like to pop in some fun surprises to make your stay more enjoyable. The property features a nice size bedroom with blinds and curtains to darken the room for your comfort. The home has central air and fans in all rooms. There is not a basement due to the proximity of the river and can smell musty on rainy days. There’s a functional and tidy utility room with a washer, dryer and iron for your convenience. We’re happy to share our laundry supplies wiyh with our guests. The cottage sits lower than the neighboring houses. The property flooded once in the five years that we’ve owned it so during high season, we frequently monitor water levels to allow our guests adequate time to make other arrangements if necessary. We are in a neighborhood. Our neighbors celebrate river life and when the weather allows they are out on their boats, having bon fires, socializing with one another, etc. The driveway is gravel and yard is large but we ask that you keep your pets on a leash. Many of our neighbors have dogs so for everyone’s safety we appreciate your cooperation with this request. Guest access Entire house and yard. There is no water access associated with this property. The view is across the street and we are unable to control access to that. If neighbors park on the street the view is obstructed. Other things to note We hope that your stay is pleasant and comfortable. In the unlikely someone should become seriously ill enough that EMS services are required our area has 911 services. To ensure the safety of all guests, hosts are required to inform the county health department of such events. We also have several quality healthcare facilities with urgent care and same day services.
