Lots of guests enjoy Uber Eats while they're here! - Microwave. You know how these work. - Keurig coffee maker for brewing a hot cup before you start your day. Disposable coffee cups and K-cups are provided. - Bottle opener provided. BEDROOM: - Queen-size memory foam bed with brushed microfiber sheets that our guests rave about. Seriously, these are great sheets - we even have a set for our own bed! - Comfy chair for putting on socks, reading, or relaxing. - Closet with hangers provided, so you don't have to live only out of a suitcase during your stay. - Luggage rack. - Iron & ironing board. BATHROOM: - Fresh and clean! Equipped with towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair blow dryer. - Custom-built shelves provide space for your toiletries and personal items. EXTRA PERKS: - Any time access to the apartment using your smartphone and the August Home app. - DC-themed décor throughout, including original photography and art. PARKING: - Free street parking for one car with parking pass provided. If you have a second car, we may in some cases be able to provide a second parking pass for an extra charge. NOTE: - We have young kids and this is our home, so during the day (8 AM - 8 PM) there may be sounds of life upstairs. But if you have specific quiet needs for a time period during your stay, please reach out and we’ll work something out. CHECK-IN: You can arrive any time, since our home has a smart lock and doesn't require keys. Come and go as you please, since you can lock and unlock the door using your phone. We also have a lockbox in case you don't have a smart phone. EARLY CHECK-IN: Normal check-in is at 4:00 PM. This gives us time to ensure that the space is very clean before your stay. We often have guests request to check in early, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that early check-in will be available. If you would like to guarantee that the space will be ready and available before 4:00 PM, please add the night before to your booking. If the listing doesn't show the night before as available, please contact us and we may be able to manually add the night before to your booking. Otherwise, if available, early check-in after 1:00 PM has a fee of $10; early check-in after 8:00 AM has a fee of 50% of the nightly rate. We have to manually add this to your booking, so please contact us if you need early check-in. Guest access An entire private basement apartment within walking distance to Clarendon, one of Arlington's hottest neighborhoods. Clarendon and Virginia Square metro stops are a half mile from our place. The apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, living area, and dining area. If you have a car, we will provide a guest parking permit for street parking for one car. Please let us know ahead of time if you need a parking pass. We have an August smart lock, so you can access the property any time using your smartphone. Download the August Home app before you arrive for easy access. Other things to note The apartment does not have a full kitchen or a kitchen sink, but there is a dining table (perfect for carry-out or delivery from the many nearby restaurants), a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and a mini fridge. We have exterior-only security cameras on the property. We live here and have young kids, so you may hear sounds of life from about 8 AM to 8 PM.
