Need a peaceful place to work, recharge and sleep well? The Executive Suite was designed for business travelers, traveling professionals and extended stays. It includes a private entrance, self check-in, queen bed, private bathroom, full-size refrigerator and our largest in-room desk. The room has step-free entry and wider doors. A shower chair is available when requested. After work, relax on an outdoor patio, stream your favorite show or enjoy the quiet surroundings of our two-acre estate. The space Free parking, Wi-Fi and a light continental breakfast are included. Whispering Oak Mansion is a convenient base for trips to Bear, Newark, Wilmington, the University of Delaware and the Christiana area. This is a private suite within the mansion. Some outdoor and guest areas may be shared. We are surrounded by nature on two acres, it's very quiet. You can run to Lums Pond which has beautiful trails for biking and hiking. At the end of the street is a delicious Tender Bones take-out shop. Wawa is just 5 minutes away. Guest access You have access to a large common area used only for guests with a three-in-one pool/air hockey/ping pong table. Comfy leather recliner couches. A round kitchen table with forks/knives/salt/pepper. A water boiler with instant coffee/tea available at anytime. A refrigerator and microwave. When the weather is nice, the patio is a beautiful spot to read, relax and watch the birds and squirrels in the back yard. We even have a hammock and wood swing overlooking our small pond.
