In Native American language, the buckeye is known as "Hetuck," meaning the eye of the buck. The home is located in the middle of some of the best mountain bike and hiking areas in the eastern United States. It is located in Transylvania County. AKA: The Land of the Waterfalls. The space ***GUESTS WILL OCCUPY THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE HOUSE*** - With private/separate parking and entrance. Guests will have the top level of house, large covered deck, backyard, fenced yard and fire-pit area to themselves, The bottom level of the house has a separate entrance, parking area and private living space. Upper level description: One bedroom with a king-sized bed, a large master bath with a tub and shower. Oversized living room with large, super comfy electric/reclining sectional. Large windows provide viewing a plethora of wild birds and private backyard area. Full kitchen stocked with everything we could think of to help make you feel at home. The dining area looks out onto a large deck with seating area, grill, outdoor lighting, and the best view on the hillside. The laundry room has a washer and dryer (cleaning agents included). Half bath is located just off of the dining room area. This home is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, music lovers, hikers, and cyclists. A BIKE WASH STATION IS LOCATED UNDER THE DECK FOR MOUNTAIN BIKES! EXTRAS: Two single person kayaks with paddles, life-jackets, waterproof container for wallet, keys, cellphone, etc. Hosts can be available to help guests load kayaks. Hosts are also willing to make themselves available to guide guests to hiking trails, waterfalls, and fishing spots/holes.
