A quiet, sunlit, literary-chic one bedroom apartment in the greenest part of the city. Inspired by the Baltimore poet, Countee Cullen, this is a great place for you to retreat, relax, reset and revive yourself. Everything is inspired by all things literature. You’ll be in an environment that cares about your comfort and safety. (Please note: for the security of our guests, there is one doorbell camera at the front entrance, pointing to the front staircase, and movement triggered recording.) The space You’d have the whole apartment to yourself, including a fully-equipped kitchen. It is on the first floor of our quiet house, with one other apartment above. We live on the property, however, you more than likely won’t hear or see us. Cozy up in one of the comfy corners with one of our many great books. Coffee is at your fingertips. Though there is small tv (18”), this place is all about literature, with great reads at arms reach, always. The kitchen is stocked with supplies. The mattress is a dream. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but equipped with modern multi-stream shower that perfectly automates water temperature. This is a full-out home experience perfect for travelers who want to be left alone. All you need is your suitcase. And don’t forget your photo shoot in front of the art deco design wall serving as a perfect backdrop for that selfie. STR-3062 Guest access As a guest you have full use of the apartment. Entry to the place is by passcode, which you will receive prior to the start of your reservation. Please note: - Only guests on reservation are allowed on property. No guests/visitors at any given time without written approval from the host. Not adhering to this rule will cause immediate cancellation of your stay without refund. - There is one active ring doorbell camera on the front door. There are no other active cameras on or in the property. -The backyard is off limits for now as we work to make it usable for future stays. -2 sets of 5 steps leading up to the porch. The house is on a slight hill making the steps a little steeper. Please consider this if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. Other things to note HOUSE RULES Our house rules are designed for your safety, ours and the community. By booking with us you acknowledge and accept responsibility for the following: 1. Quiet time is 11:00pm. 2. Only guests on reservation are allowed on property. No guests/visitors at any given time without written approval from the host. Not adhering to this rule will cause immediate cancellation of your stay without refund. 3. All guests on the reservation must upload their FULL name and PICTURE on airbnb platform. 4. There will be an additional $25 fee charge for sending items left behind. 5. Any smoking in the suite will result in a $200. 6. No Pets allowed on premises or you will be fined $200. No service animals or any animals are allowed due to health issues. 7. The backyard is off-limits for now as maintenance is done. 8. Long term stays over 30 days require an Innkeepers Agreement.
