The space The room has a raised tatami platform over 3m wide, designed like a large bed. We provide handmade 100% cotton futons, dried after each stay for clean, cozy sleep. Furniture is low and made of natural wood, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The living area includes a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, and tableware (no cooking tools). The bathroom offers two washbasins and a separate toilet for comfort. The interior was coordinated by the host, combining Japanese traditional style with modern comfort. A free washer-dryer is available 24 hours in the shared 1st floor area. Detergent is provided, so you can pack lighter and wash anytime. Having a dryer is rare in Japan, making this a great convenience for long stays. High-speed business Wi-Fi is available, perfect for remote work and streaming. Guests can join Japanese cultural workshops such as calligraphy, ikebana, Matcha Experience and onigiri-making on the 1st floor—perfect for families and long-stay visitors. Guest access You will stay on the 3rd floor (one private room) of a 4-story building with an elevator. The owner’s family lives on the 4th floor, so you can feel secure knowing help is nearby if needed. Other things to note - The entire building is non-smoking. - Check-in is done in person with the host. The entrance code is given directly at that time (not sent in advance). - Passport check is required by law at check-in. We will take a photo then, so no need to send it beforehand. - Facilities: Safety box available. A small dog lives on the 4th floor (owner’s residence) but never enters guest areas. - Luggage storage: Free before check-in (from 10:00) and after check-out (until 16:00). - Quiet environment: Close to Dotonbori and Kuromon Market, yet very quiet at night.
