Description
A newly renovated apartment that can sleep up to four people in two generous double bedrooms. Situated above a quaint tearoom, "Hearts of Ampleforth" originally the village shop dating back to the 1800s, in the picturesque village of Ampleforth. The Domesday Book mentions the village in 1086 as Ampreforde, translated as the Ford of the Sorrel. The book of the same title is just one of the books on our well stocked book shelf for our guests to learn more about the area. The space A comfortable stylish lounge with large smart TV, with plenty of games and books to keep our guests entertained. The dining kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials for eating in, with double oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, and every thing required to make our guests feel at home. But if you prefer to eat out there is a fabulous tearoom downstairs! Both bedrooms are spacious doubles each with their own TV. The large bathroom has a double walk in shower. Guest access The apartment is sitauted above Hearts of Ampleforth tearoom and is accesed via a private entrance through the garden. The tearoom is open Thursday - Monday 10am - 4pm. Guests have private use of the pretty south facing garden, outside these hours. There is plenty of free off street parking. Other things to note For our guests comfort the bed linen and towels provided are 100% Egyptian Cotton, all pillows and duvets are hyper allergenic. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion, and the ever essential loo rolls. The kitchen has everything our guests may need to create anything from a cup of Yorkshire tea to a three course meal, including crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Extra special - our guests are greeted with a basket of Yorkshire goodies.
