A warm welcome awaits. Our guest room with its own entrance overlooks a secluded, rural valley. The room, newly decorated for 2025, includes a double sleigh bed, tea/coffee facilities, cool box, plus an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, bath and underfloor heating. A farmhouse breakfast with local ingredients and our own sourdough. Perfect for exploring the coast and Dartmoor or delights of Salcombe, Dartmouth & Totnes. A good base for walking the SW coast path. Dinner can be provided. I The space The farmhouse is a modern conversion of a barn and is both comfortable and warm. Sitting in 25 acres of pasture and woodland and you are welcome to walk around the farm at your leisure. We have a number of animals including friendly cats and a dog and so we have to regretfully say no pets allowed. Guest access The entrance for guests is through your own private doorway which leads to your own private lobby immediately outside the Guest Room. This space is ideal for leaving muddy boots outdoor coats and suchlike. Breakfast is served in the kitchen/dining room - again overlooking Woolcombe Valley. If the weather is good you are welcome to have your breakfast on the terrace. There is an area behind the farm which is equipped with a fire bowl and table and chairs - wonderful for an evening drink or even a barbecue. A variety of rugs provided if you wish to sit outside and the weather is chilly. We can supply equipment if you would like to have a barbecue. You are welcome to browse our bookshelves and board games. During your stay We will be around to welcome you to the farm and are happy to assist when needed - especially to give advice on eateries and places to visit. Other than that happy to leave you to enjoy the space. You are welcome to borrow our guidebooks and maps. Light dinner can be provided. Other things to note If you would prefer to relax at the farm instead of going out in the evening, we can provide a light dinner (3 courses) for you to enjoy in your room – or on the terrace if the weather is good. Great after a long journey or when you have been out and about for the day. Please see images for menu and feel free to contact us for more information. We can accommodate two children on camp beds if you would like. Please ask for further details. A high-chair is available but not a cot. Young children welcome but must be supervised at all times. Please advise of any dietary and particularly allergy requirements in advance of your booking.
