Looking for relocators orlonger term guests only for a fully airconditioned historic cottage with modern conveniences on the banks of the Fitzroy River Rockhampton, 2.5 km to CBD but with a rural outlook across river to the Berserker Ranges. Pets allowed inside, fenced back yard, security screens, & covered carport. NBN internet. The space This quaint riverfront cottage is a perfect for relocators.. One km from the City centre and 4 kms from hospitals - yet a world away. Rural peaceful feel – private, safe and cool river breezes. One night stops are permitted although the cleaning fee for each stay adds to the overnight price. Far better to stay 2nights and enjoy the beautiful river. Pet owners preferred as our mission with our cottages is to provide quality clean gorgeous cottages where pet owners can bring their dogs inside. We do not live there so you are not sharing with the owners at all. While prefect for a couple, there is room for an third person in the second bedroom or even a fourth ie a child on the sofa. It is airconditioned and with fans and fully furnished with white goods, 32" (non smart)TV and DVD, pet friendly furniture, full kitchen crockery and cutlery, laundry and ironing facilities. Large fully fenced back yard with 1.2 m pool fencing to thwart climbing dogs. Dogs and cats allowed inside and there is back yard access via large sliding double doors on the back deck. Room for boat caravan or horse float. There is a covered carport under a shading mango tree. Lovely bathroom, shower, with washing machine and dryer. Gas hot water. Cute timber kitchen, large frig/freezer, microwave, gas oven, and dishwasher. One very large bedroom with queen bed and its own door to the front deck and the delightful river vista. TV lounge area separates the two bedrooms. The second smaller bedroom/office has a king size single and desk. Amplimesh security screens on all windows and doors. . Back and front decks. Guest access You have the whole property and the land area is over 1000sm so plenty of room for your pets, boat van or horse float. The owner will contact you and give you the combination number for the key lock.
