Why stay in a local Inn when you can enjoy a rustic Casa on a quiet lane next to the forest, just 3 miles from Idyllwild. Updated with modern conveniences, the Casa is a time capsule of cowboy and Indian art and memorabilia. Downstairs and adjacent to the main cabin the studio has two parking spaces, a private entry, full kitchen, bathroom with a shower, a 10 in. memory foam queen bed, streaming TV, and WI-FI. A 1/3rd acre fenced back yard for dogs has spindle oak, pines and manzanita trees. The space The Cowboy Casa is a private and separate part of our updated authentic 1940s cabin built with original Idyllwild milled pine wood. We live upstairs with our well-behaved Weimaraner dogs. We often take them to work with us during the day. The Cowboy Casa is available for a single person or couple. Guests say the Cowboy Casa is very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Guest access Guests can park two cars outside of the separate entry to the Casa, where you will see the address and sign. They will have access to the entire downstairs, and share the backyard with our dogs at times. We do live upstairs but are often gone and we are very quiet when guests are here. Other things to note This is an extra quiet neighborhood, and people expect no noise after 8 pm at night. (Too dark for crime!) It’s about 5 minutes by car into the town of Idyllwild. You may hear cayotes howling at night and a wolf dog at dawn and dusk. No worries. Absolutely no smoking or candles on the property due to fire hazard.
