The Lazy Dayz Cottage is conveniently located only 5 miles off I-26, 4 miles to downtown Mars Hill, 9 miles to downtown Marshall, 13 miles to Weaverville, 19 miles to Hatley Pointe (Ski) and 22 miles to downtown Asheville. Relaxing getaway for couples or the whole family. Many outdoor activities within 30 minutes in multiple directions. Very close to Mars Hill University for easy access to ballgames and events at the college. The space Leave the insanity behind but be close enough to visit great restaurants, breweries, wine shops, outdoor hiking, skiing, white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain biking and more within minutes. We provide 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and 1 twin over twin trundle in three private bedrooms. All bedding is brand new and high quality for a good and comfortable nights sleep. A large living room and kitchen/dining room for relaxing evenings in. High end Viking cookware, all kitchen supplies and full size gas grill to cook a large or small meal. Relax by the outdoor fire pit area in the large side yard and beside the stream. You can also relax on our covered porch with outdoor seating on the front and side of the porch. We do provide fiber optic high speed internet in case you need to do a little or a lot of work during your visit. Guest access You will enjoy the entire home which is situated on two acres with a small stream running along the front side of the home. The parking area (which can accommodate up to four cars) and entrance in to the home is flat. Our cottage is setup with self check-in. Other things to note The owners only live about 13 miles away so we are available should an issue arise during your stay. Cleaning fee... We do not add anything to this fee. The entire amount goes directly to the cleaning service that sanitizes the linens and thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the home after each use. Fire wood - We provide firewood for initial fire but should you need additional firewood, you may purchase it at Exxon Gas Station at 844 Carl Eller Road in Mars Hill or Shell Gas Station at 10 Stockton Branch Road in Weaverville. Rentals longer than 14 nights will require an additional cleaning.
