This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is a short walk from the beach. It is half of a duplex, and I live in the other half. This space is perfect for two adults. Please read the entire listing for important details. The bedroom has a queen bed and dresser. The living room has a daybed that serves as a couch. Please do not try to move the trundle under the daybed. I have a smart lock with a keypad. You can pick your own code in advanced (4-6 digits), and there is a key hanging inside if you prefer to use a key after that. The bathroom had a shower, but no bath. Please do not flush anything but toilet paper in the toilet! The pipes are old and cant handle most of the so-called “flushable” products out there. Even flushable wipes clog my toilets so please don’t flush them! There is a full kitchen and a shared back yard where the laundry machines are located (in a white enclosure directly behind the bathroom - please limit to 1 or two loads). The back yard has a large, brown storage box with beach toys and a mesh bag to carry them. You are welcome to use these as long as you promise that you won’t leave any of them on the beach. If one of the toys breaks, please throw it away. There are no charges for broken beach toys, so no need to notify me - Just please please don’t leave them (or anything) on the beach! Trash cans are on the side of the house by my apartment (#2). Trash is picked up Mondays and Thursdays. If you are there on one those days, I would appreciate if you could help put them out or roll them in. If anything else in the house breaks (no matter how big or small), please inform me! I won’t charge you unless it is something deliberate that warrants a charge. I just want to know so I can fix/replace things. All of apartment 1, the driveway in front of apartment 1, and the back patio behind unit 1, with a patio table and 4 chairs. If you need to do laundry, you also have access to the washer/dryer, located in the white enclosure against the back of the building, accessed via the back yard. Please limit use to a maximum of 2 loads unless your stay is longer than 14 days. Please do not leave any towels, pillows, linens, or other house items outside at night or when you are away from the property. You can always contact me via the Air BnB app. I’m also available via text on my cell phone. That number will be provided after booking. I have friends who live nearby and can help of something comes up while I’m not there. Isle of Palms is a nice neighborhood, and my house is a very short walk to the beach. There is a playground at the center of the island, and a tiny lending library across the street from the playground. You can walk to the beach, the Treasure Island Slide, Sloppy Joe's, Thunderbirds, and more. There is a trolley stop in front of Waffle House that will take you to all the cities along the coast - from Clearwater to Pass-a-grille beach. There's also a service called Free Beach Ride that will provide a sober ride for anyone who wants to bar-hop. They work for tips only. No unauthorized guests or pets - not even just to visit. Parking is for registered guests only. (Maximum of 2 vehicles). Other Fees: 1. Unauthorized guests and/or pets and/or vehicles will be subject to additional fees of $50-$500. 2. $25 flat fee if the cleaner has to do any sort of "extra" like dishes or reschedule the cleaning (100% of this fee goes to the cleaner). 3. $250 if the house key is lost. 4. $300 fee for smoking anywhere on the property. To use the smart lock, enter your code and then press the “Yale” button. Wait 15 seconds, as you will hear the lock turning. Once the lock has stopped making noise, you can open the door. To lock it when you leave, just press the “Yale” button once, and you should hear the lock working again. The ceiling fans/lights are operated by a remote control that is mounted on the wall just inside the front door and bedroom door. The blue/white towels can be taken to the beach. No other towels, linens, or blankets should leave the space. The unit has two smart TVs with remotes. I do not pay for cable TV, but the Smart TV has the Roku and Pluto channels, that offer free TV, movies, and music. It also has the Netflix app, if you want to log in using your own Netflix account. Treasure Island has a sound ordinance, with quiet hours from 11pm-7am.
