This is a 24' diameter, 452 sqft. yurt, perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family adventure. You’ll find this to be a one-of-a-kind experience, as the vibe here is truly magical. Roses & lights surround the entire interior and the luxury wooden tub/shower is sure to impress! The yurt is well insulated & has a mini split that really cranks out the heat/AC. There is also a fireplace, electric blankets & a space heater to ensure you stay nice and toasty. You'll have a ceiling fan & portable fan to stay cool on the warmer days. Make meals in the fully-stocked kitchenette that has a 2 burner hot plate, air fryer, crock pot, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, Fridge & Freezer. If you’re wanting to grill out, we’ve got you covered with a charcoal grill. Have a nice chat by the fire pit over a glass of wine. Stargaze with the telescope (the sky is so beautiful here)! When you’re not out hiking, this is a prime location to visit wineries, breweries, & ski! You will be right on the 151 “Brew Ridge Trail”, less than a half mile from the most sought after brewery- Devils Backbone & about 10 miles from Wintergreen Ski Resort. The yurt is peaceful on the quieter section of route 151, though it is about 300’ off the road, so you will occasionally hear some traffic noise. **Queen air mattress (stored behind couch) & Pack-N-Play are available for your use. *Pack-n-Play will need to be requested in advance** **We provide two propane tanks (one full back up and the other hooked up which may or may not be full) for the fire pit though you may need to exchange them depending on usage. Dollar General and the IGA a few minutes from the yurt can exchange tanks** The yurt and the surrounding 2.5 acres! We don't live onsite, but are close by if you need us. The yurt is on 3 acres. You’ll find a stream in the back of the property. Feel free to explore! The property is right on Route 151. You may hear some traffic. We provide a white noise machine to ensure you sleep soundly! Please park in the driveway right next to the yurt. You’ll have a lighted entry to welcome you! -Dome can be opened using the pole on the side of the bookshelf. Attach the hook of the end of the pole to the loop on the dome then crank the pole to open and close. PLEASE close the dome when you leave. -Early check-in options are available as an add-on as long as you inquire about it before your check-in day: 2pm check-in- $35 12pm check-in- $50 -Extra pillows & sheets can be found in the cart underneath the bed. -The air mattress can be found behind the couch. The air mechanism to blow it up is built in. -We do our best to keep bugs out of the yurt. But, the yurt is in a country setting, so there’s a chance that you may see some. -The max guest count of 4 assumes two people per bed including the provided air mattress. - 4 wheel drive is recommended when it snows. - There is a home on either side of the yurt about 100’ or so. One of the homes is being renovated, current as of Feb 2024 so there could be noise from that work occasionally. - The yurt is about 300’ off the road on the quieter section of route 151. **Please use code word "Pearl Jam" when booking so that we know we've properly set expectations for you**
