Cozy loft between lakes and mountains

Marie Jo and Sébastien will be happy to host you in their cottage in Vernet. Rated 2 stars, it is located in the countryside of Albanais, 5 minutes from Rumilly, 30 minutes from Lake Annecy or Lake Bourget and 1 hour from Lake Geneva (and Geneva). We will be happy to introduce you to the beauty of our region The space Loft of about 48 m2, cozy and functional located in the outbuilding of our dwelling house. It is rated 2 stars. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen (except dishwasher), open to a living room that has a fireplace. The living room is open to a bedroom with a queen bed (160*200) where there is access to a bathroom with shower and toilet. A ladder allows access to a mezzanine with sleeping area (140*190) rather recommended for children or teenagers (1.50 m high). We offer sheets, duvet cover, towels and breakfast essentials (coffee, tea, butter, jam) as well as oil and vinegar, dish soap, toilet paper, tea towels, ... Great for a couple or for a family with kids. Upon request, we can provide all necessary equipment for small children as well as a firewall for the stove. Located next to our main residence, it has a separate entrance and free parking. The listing does not have a screen or TV, but it is equipped with a Wifi box. Access to the garden with garden seating area reserved for the cottage. Children's games available. No smoking but an ashtray is available outside for your use. Our friends dogs and cats are not allowed in our cottage. For the summer, this one is now equipped with a mobile air conditioner. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact us. Guest access You will appreciate our accommodation for its location, in the countryside, quiet and between lakes and mountains. The first ski resorts are about 35 minutes away by car: • Semnoz family resort (Ski trail and background, summer luge) • Station de la Margeriaz (Ski Trail) • 50 min from Grand Bornand or La Clusaz (Ski trail and background, summer luge) • 60 minutes from Chamonix (Sea of ice, noon needle, ...) Chamonix, Geneva or Lyon are an hours drive away. Ideally located at the crossroads of 3 beautiful lakes: • 20 mins from Annecy (Lake, Old Town, …) • 30 minutes from Aix les bains (Lake, thermal baths,...) • 60 minutes from Geneva (Suisse-Lac) Multiple activities are possible within a 40km radius: • Lakes • Paragliding • via ferrata • golf • body of water (Lescheraines leisure base in summer) • ATV • Fishing • Hiking (Bauges regional park, Massif des Bornes, Aravis,...) • Museums • Skiing • Natural site (Gorges du Fier, etc.) From the house, departure possible by walking ("Chemin de la apple") or by mountain bike. 5 minutes by car from Rumilly (Restaurants, cinema, shops, gas station,...) 10-minute walk to the Chéran River. 15-minute walk from the Rumilly leisure center (games for little ones, lake, go-karting). Other things to note Price is based on two people. A surcharge of €5 will be requested for one or two additional people for additional costs (cleaning, water, etc.). Presence of a cat as well as some chickens. The accommodation is equipped with a washing machine (in our common area) and we provide our dryer on request. Baby cot, high chair, baby bath are available on request The studio is equipped with selective waste sorting bins as well as a compost bin. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival. We will accommodate you as much as possible. A book is at your disposal with all the good plans and events and we provide our IGN hiking map of the area. We also provide a raclette or fondue machine so you can enjoy the specialties of the region. Waffle or pancake maker upon request.
