Your Private Oasis on the Rogue River

A "breathtaking private oasis" was the full term used by one of our guests in 2024. Set on 5.5 acres of forest adjacent to the Rogue River within the "Wild and Scenic" protected corridor, the house can be either an excellent romantic getaway or a fun-filled, whole-family retreat. Take a float on the stretch of exciting rapids that run past the house; enjoy a day hike along the river to see salmon jumping the dramatic Rainie Falls; pack a picnic and cool off in nearby creeks; toss a line in the water for world-class fishing; or explore the amenities of the property, which include ping pong, volleyball, archery range (bring your own bow and arrows), or a quiet retreat sitting beside the river. The family can watch movies together in the living room, or the kids can play downstairs in the "game room," where there's board games and a separate TV for hooking up the DVD player or your own gaming devices. This cedar shingle, 3-level house comfortably sleeps 6-8 people in 1 king, 2 queen, 2 twin-sized beds, and queen Murphy bed. It's perfect for two couples or a family with children. It is stocked, for your convenience, with a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry, as well as bedding, towels, and paper products. Satellite internet and WiFi are also provided (extra charge for data over 50 gb, only). Cellular calling is out of range, but iMessaging is good, as is WiFi calling. So bring the whole family and take in as much quiet and seclusion or wild and thrilling activity as your heart desires. There's something here for everyone.
