Jungle house under the jungle giants

Enjoy your holiday in the rustic jungle house as a nature and beach lover right under rainforest giants. Just 200 meters from the lonely long sandy beach and 9 km from the hustle and bustle of Bocas Town. The cottage can accommodate 5 people in 2 bedrooms, with an outdoor kitchen and large outdoor bathroom with a rainforest shower (with hot water!) and wooden bathtub. Experience the jungle up close with exotic birds, howler monkeys, sloths and ocean sounds. Daily breakfast available for a fee The space The cottage is in back of the property. It offers a covered, rustic terrace of natural trunks and bamboo overlooking the two jungle giants and the access path in between. Also on the terrace is the outdoor kitchen with stove (4 hotplates and oven), refrigerator, sink and all cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. The dining area is also on the terrace. The 2 bedrooms, storage shelf for clothes and suitcases as well as a desk are located in the lockable interior. The spacious, partially covered outdoor bathroom with walls made of bamboo can be reached via 2 steps from the 1st bedroom. The toilet corner is still located on the upper platform, adjacent to the 1st bedroom, but outside. The elegant double washbasin with large mirror, a wooden bathtub and the rainwater shower with hot water under a large tree offer comfort for extensive body care. The outdoor bathroom has two entrances, one from the closed interior with the two bedrooms and from the outside with entrance next to the terrace. We provide drinking water. We recommend not drinking the tap water. You can buy other cold drinks, such as soft drinks, beer, red wine and white wine. For a fee, we offer breakfast ($14 per person, children: 0-3 years free, 4-8 years half price) and a laundry service including drying (for $10 per washing machine load). Look forward to the impressive nature and biodiversity of the jungle flora and fauna, discover shaded hiking trails along the coast, walking your feet in the water along the kilometer-long, secluded beach, splashing/bathing/swimming in the tropical, Caribbean, year-round 29 degrees warm sea (not always floating due to strong surf and rib currents), watch the surfers surfing and enjoy a cool drink at a beach bar. Bluff Beach is a popular area for surfers, especially in the months of January to March. There are seasonal surfing competitions. The sea is quieter and often floating in the months of September, October and November. At Bluff Beach, in addition to the beach bar, there are 3 other restaurants that provide culinary enjoyment with changing menus. Guest access On our natural property you can move freely and we offer pure nature with howler monkeys, which regularly find us in our trees to eat. The Redfrog and many other exotic frogs are here in the garden in a great variety. At the terrace at the cottage, there is an opossum in one of the jungle giants, which likes to see in the evening. We have also had a large nasal bear twice in the garden. Many guests have already had the good fortune to see the sloth 🦥 living freely in our area in our garden. Other things to note There are no shops at Bluff Beach. If you would like to self-cater, then you would have to plan ahead for your stay – but we can certainly help you through our own supply planning if something runs out or is missing. You will receive drinking water from us at your disposal in a large gallon. The tap water is suitable, as it is pure rainwater, only for shower and toilet and is not always completely odorless, as we deliberately avoid chemicals for the sake of the environment. We offer a laundry service and will gladly give you tips and information about possible outdoor activities. We collect the garbage separately and take it to the local recycling center in town. We ask that you separate the garbage into the existing garbage cans according to recyclable materials. We offer a delicious, rich breakfast and minibar drinks in the fridge by reservation. The Bluff Beach area is a developing area. It is possible that construction work or gardeners can be seen and heard. From 5 pm onwards, there is always complete peace and quiet and you can only hear the sounds of the jungle and the sound of the waves. The property is a 30-40 minute, bumpy drive from the main town of Colón Island. There is a local bus or taxis, and you can rent quads/ATVs/scooters and e-bikes in the main town.
