Two Story Moody Beach Oceanfront Home

Original 1909 oceanfront summer cottage with access to Moody Beach via a public way 4 cottages away. Some years there are more rocks then sand. There is an open front porch and an enclosed back porch. First floor has a fireplace living room, adjoining dining room and kitchen. Dining room seats 8. Downstairs has a small half bath and the second floor has a full bath/shower combo. Property is about 1.5 miles from Route 1 shopping. A pet with special permission only. $200 security deposit for first time renters. Check in 3PM Saturday check out 11 AM Saturday This is only a summer cottage, it is not winterized. Seasonal rentals reservations begin February each year. Returning renters get first option for reservations. Remaining open weeks are then posted on website. All inquires are taken in order of date inquired on website. We appreciate all new inquires and apologize that we cannot accommodate everyone. Some years have more openings than others. 9% Maine rental tax added to rental rates. End of rental cleaning service mandatory for $270. No daily service. No linen service. Most guests bring own linen or use ours. (must be cleaned by guest) A private linen service is available for guests who prefer this service. Guests can contact them privately. Must leave cottage in excellent condition PARKING: There is room behind the cottage in a designated parking area for about 5 cars( depending on the size) An additional ccar aslo can be parked on the grass NEXT to the garage. We share the driveway with our neighbor to the South so please do not block their entrance or exit space. The neighbor to the North doe not have access to behind their cottage to their house and must park behind the red garage. Please do not park behind our gray garage by the street as family occasionally needs the space to use the garage. The town will give a parking ticket to cars parked on the road.
