Welcome to our heritage house at the heart of Transylvania! We have just finished renovating and refurbishing it. We tried to preserve and refresh clean and simple Art Deco details, while prioritizing convenience & coziness. Entering the veranda with its arched vaults, you get a majestic castle feeling. Inside, you feel the comfort of a home. It is located on a quiet street in Sebes, a 10 minutes walk from the town centre, and from landmarks such as the gothic church and the medieval wall. The space The two generous rooms are perfect 2 or 3 adults, or for a family with 2 children. The rooms are connected to each other, so passage to kitchen and bathroom is through one of the rooms, which can also be regarded as a living room. There is a king size double bed in the main bedroom. In the livingroom/other bedroom, there is a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for one adult or for 2 children. The master bedroom still keeps the original terracotta oven (the host will instruct you on using it if necessary). The house is heated through central heating elements, so the terracotta is only a coziness feature. Air conditioning is not necessary, as this is a thick-walled house built to preserve its coolness even during hot summers. The kitchen is fully equipped. The timeless, elegant veranda offers a quaint outdoors relaxation space. Guest access Access to the house, from the street, is made via a shared courtyard. Private separate entrance to the building. Private parking in the courtyard of the property. Other things to note A medical unit and a dental office are also located in the courtyard. The owners' house is also located in the same courtyard, close enough for convenience in case you need any assistance, but far enough to ensure your privacy and ease as a guest. Please note that this is a non-smoking house. There is one special smoking area in front of the veranda. To avoid any allergy risk, pets are not allowed on the property. For stays between 1 and 6 nights: 1 set of bed linens/pers, 2-3 sets of towels/pers. No cleaning during the stay is provided. For stays of more than 6 nights: bed linens are changed every 6th night, towels are changed every 2nd day. Cleaning (vacuum cleaning, bathroom & kitchen cleaning, dust wipe) for a fee of 20 € can be provided upon request.
