A secluded, self contained cabin set in it's own private 1/4 acre grounds within 2 acres of woodland and gardens, teeming with wildlife. High on the valley side, offering south facing, outstanding 180° views over the River Coquet and Northumberland National Park. En suite shower room and toilet (composting), and a well equipped kitchen. Outside dining area on the patio and fire pit. Please note, due to access the cabin is NOT suitable for anyone with limited mobility or difficulty walking. The space From the stable door entrance, the accommodation is divided into separate bedroom and kitchen/dining areas. The bedroom comprises a double bed, fireplace (flame effect electric heating), TV and access to the en suite shower room & toilet. The TV has terrestrial digital channels and Roku (providing guest mode access to Netflix, iPlayer etc). The shower is full sized with ample hot water for showering. The toilet is an eco-friendly waterless and odourless toilet. The kitchen/dining area has a well equipped kitchen with gas hob, combi microwave oven and grill, full sized under-counter fridge. From the dining table you can enjoy un-interrupted outstanding views over the surroundings. Outside is a patio area with all weather table and chairs, partially sheltered on either side by live willow arches. Within its own 1/4 acre private grounds, below the Cabin, is a unique circular stone seating area and firepit. The south facing heavy stone captures the heat of the sun from morning until evening, and is tucked into the hillside sheltered from most winds. From within the Cabin you should see a wide variety of wildlife; a wide range of woodland and garden birds to buzzards and kestrels; rabbits; and maybe squirrels and deer. The Cabin has excellent WiFi access with up to 70Mbps download available. Guest access Guests at the Cabin have sole access to 1/4 acre private grounds; this is within a spacious 2 acre site consisting of gardens and woodland. Guests at Pondicherry House Apartment (Also listed on Airbnb) have their own private patio and garden area; and also share access with the Cabin guests to the remaining gardens and woodland. Other things to note Please note, access to the Cabin is along a 50m gravel path leading from the parking area. Part of this path is fairly steep, down to the Cabin. Access into the Cabin is up two small steps from the patio area. The Cabin accommodation may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
