✨ Renovation Note (2025): We’re thrilled to share that the Schoolhouse has just completed a major renovation! Our home is now 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (formerly 2 and 2), with a brand-new attic play space for kids and a dishwasher in the kitchen. *FOR SKIERS: 20 minutes to Hunter, 25 minutes to Wyndham! The space Built in 1901, this one-room Catskill schoolhouse served local children until the 1950s. An addition was built in the 1960s, and in 2018 we completed a full renovation and restoration. Most recently, in 2025, we expanded the Schoolhouse from 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms into a spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom retreat — including a new attic playspace for kids and an updated kitchen with a dishwasher. The home blends historic character with modern comfort. Original schoolhouse details remain, but every bedroom and bathroom has been thoughtfully updated to create a welcoming, functional space for families and groups. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining, with a new dishwasher to make cleanup simple. Upstairs, kids will love the finished attic playspace, while adults can relax throughout the home’s cozy nooks. Setting --> The Schoolhouse sits on five private acres of forest, with walking paths that lead to a pristine creek bordering a fourth-generation family farm.
