Since then beaches have accreted enlarging our dunes area, much of which is now forested parklands providing acres of habitat for wildlife: deer, bear, pheasants and eagles abound. The motel was added in the 50s and converted to apartments in the 90s. All of the land between the apt and the ocean is now city parklands. You will be delighted at the amount of green space considering we are so central! Free parking for up to two vehicles. I can provide bikes if wanted, there are excellent paths including the 8.5 mile discovery trail easily accessible. Just let me know of any needs you might have. We are a female owned and operated and check for hidden cameras with every cleaning. We are very safety conscious and have passed every City LBFD and Columbia Fire and Safety Inspection. Picturesque sandy path to beach is @ 2000 ft hike to Ocean or just 2 blocks south there is paved approach you can drive or bike to beach. Both intersect with asphalted discovery trail which winds serenely through the dunes for miles with stunning views. Great for biking, rollerblading, short or longer hikes. And... there is a newly built frisbee golf course in the parklands just a ways down the path. Beach and Folf course trails may be unpassable in rainy season without rubber boots.
