The house is a converted stable and still enjoys some original features. It is a cosy cottage situated in our courtyard with a small patio area with table and chairs. There is an acre of walled garden adjacent to the cottage with plenty of space to enjoy for all of our guests. The cottage has stairs leading to the two bedrooms and bathroom. There is a bath with electric shower over. Downstairs there is a galley kitchen with a lounge diner. It is a very popular letting. Small pets welcomed. The space The Old house has 3 cottages and 2 B&B rooms. It is central to the village and has a very large walled garden for guests to enjoy. Guest access All guests staying at the property have access to the large walled garden. There are plenty of seating available around the garden creating their own private environment. In the summer we erect badminton nets for guests to enjoy near to the BBQ area. Other things to note The Old House has strong historical ties with the poets Coleridge, Wordsworth and other of the Romantic poets. Some of Coleridge poetry is believed to have been written in the garden or library. Come and try for yourselves.
