Escape to this unique and freshly renovated lake house that is built completely overwater. Experience unobstructed views of highly desired Chandos Lake, complete with absolutely gorgeous sunsets! Sleep with the screen doors and windows open and enjoy the fresh air and stunning starry views. Wake up to the sounds of loon calls and soothing waves from your bed while overlooking the lake. Experience our relaxing retreat to get away from it all. Unplug and reconnect with no wifi/tv. The space This lake house is a cozy and intimate open concept living space. The bedroom boasts a queen size bed that overlooks the living space, right through to the stunning views of the lake. The living space includes a gorgeous little wood stove that can be used in the colder months for an incredibly cozy experience, made for snuggling on the couch with all the blankets and hot cocoa! The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, stove top kettle and teapot. There is a Berkey water filtration system that allows you to drink the water, so you don't have to bring up any water should you choose. There is a Duo Keurig coffee machine that brews single serve pods or a full carafe of coffee, as well as a French press. As well as everything you need to cook and eat - If there is something particular you are looking for in order to cook, please reach out in advance and we will do our best to include it, if it's not already there. The bath house is freshly renovated and includes a large vanity, walk in shower, and state of the art macerating toilet. There are multiple different outdoor locations to enjoy, including the top deck, lower deck swim/yoga platform (yoga mats available on request), beach, and walking trails. There are 2 paddle boards and a canoe located on the lower deck for guests to enjoy, as well as a fire pit located right on the beach, and a propane BBQ located outside the lake house. Guest access This lake house, along with the bath house and beach, is completely private and only yours to enjoy during your stay. The bath house is located in a separate structure, on land, just behind the lake house. There is also a private outhouse on the property for emergencies or for use, should you wish. The lake house is located in a small bay of Chandos Lake, which houses only 2 other cottages. Other things to note There are several local places to eat and enjoy should you wish to venture out. There are a few restaurants close by, including a lakeside marina (Shantilly's Place) and lakeside restaurant (Wally's Pub), The Swiss Bear, and Bordertown (for amazing homemade daily special takeout and fresh pies!)
