Finley Studio

The perfect location to base yourself when exploring Perth or a place to escape the bustle of town. The home is set back from the road, and the guest area is quite private. Sit and relax in the studio space, wander the gardens, or use the space for quiet meditation or your own yoga practice. The historic town of Perth has many restaurant options. Our home is an Ontario Heritage Site and there is information about the original settlers available. The space McKinley House - also known as 'Gold Rush' House was built in the 1850's. A heritage home that has stood the test of time. Accessed by a private entrance at the side of the home, our guest suite includes an eating space and living area with gas fireplace, bathroom, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker, plus a small fridge. Please note that there is no TV and internet speed is variable. Guest access Four stairs lead to a private entrance at the side of the home. Guests have access to all outside areas, including the patio and gazebo. Guests may be able to see view the original historic McKinley house ground floor when we are present. During your stay We will be in the neighbourhood - just text if you have any questions. Other things to note We have two resident cats. They are kept out of the guest bedroom but occasionally visit the yoga studio. They are friendly but if you have allergies this may not be the place for you. Also, we eat a lot of nuts so those with nut allergies should also be wary. There is no smoking within 200 metres of the home. There is a small creek (with varying water levels throughout the year).
