Welcome to the Ponderosé Getaway! Our little piece of heaven on earth. Relax and get away with friends and loved ones while you enjoy all the beautiful scenery the Texas hill country has to offer. It is the perfect place for family gatherings of any kind , holiday getaways, girls’ weekends, retreats, and so much more! Picture yourself enjoying a cup of coffee on the back patio as you see the sun rise over the misty river, with deer and cattle grazing nearby, and fly fishing right down below! The space Spend your days floating the river, then in the evening, watch the bats come out from the bridge, chase fireflies in the yard, while you grill your dinner on the fire pit. Fun Fact: Our private neighborhood bridge is one of just a few locations where TPWL annually drop in trout for fly fishing! Making our place a prime spot for casting your reel! We offer fast WIFI, Netflix, Prime, Disney, and all the major networks. We have a kid's corner complete with a tent filled with books, puzzles, toys, and even board games and cards for all! Our place is conveniently located near all the major attractions (Schlitterbahn, Gruene, WhiteWater, Canyon Lake, etc.), and Uber makes it easy to get around without worry! We have ample parking in our front yard and our paved drive way. You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. We require a valid photo ID to be sent upon booking. Maximum occupancy at all times is 12 guests and 5 vehicles. Please come and have a great time, but be aware that disrespectful or disruptive behavior will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. (Basically, just treat it like you’re paying the mortgage. :-) No pets and no smoking allowed on the property. If during your stay, it is discovered that pets or smoking occurred on/in the property, this will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. If following your stay, it is discovered that pets or smoking occurred on/in the property, you will be financially responsible for appropriate deep cleaning services and additional fees. Guest access Entire property. Other things to note It should be noted that Bedroom 3 is downstairs from the main house, and is accessible from the downstairs outside porch area. It is a garage space that has been converted to a living space. This particular bedroom is best suited for a family with children, as it contains smaller beds and bunk beds. Also, the downstairs Bathroom is dedicated to this downstairs area, and is accessible from the downstairs outside porch area. It should be noted that since our porch structure incorporates well established pecan trees (see listing photos), our home does experience insects that can find their way inside. Because we are aware of the increased possibility of pests, we make a proactive choice to automatically schedule pest control services every three months. This provides our home with a barrier that eradicates pests once they’ve crossed the threshold. This can leave us finding deceased evidence of pests within our home, however guests can be assured that the home is well protected.
