This bright, historical home has solar installed and is loadshedding resistant. Centrally located, it offers good value accommodation + secure parking for two medium size cars. Electric fencing offers extra security. Quick access to Camps Bay/Clifton beaches (+-20 minutes drive). Easy access to town (+-10/15 minutes drive into the City). Bright and spacious with wooden floors and high ceilings. Sunny, covered patio and small leafy garden. Pets welcome ONLY by pre agreement and booking. Guest access Full private use of the house and patio (braai area). Please note, tucked into the back corner of the property is my little artist’s cottage studio, where during the winter months, you may find me working on my ceramic figurines (during week days only). It’s separate and private from the main house, with its own private entrance through a gate at the back of the garden. My small kiln(oven), where I fire my work, is situated just outside the front entrance. I fully respect my guests' privacy, so you’ll likely only catch a glimpse of me coming or going, or packing the kiln now and then. That said, you’re very welcome to pop in and say hello. And I’m always happy to share a bit of clay if you'd like to try your hand at making a small keepsake! Other things to note We have secure parking behind an automatic sliding gate. Please make sure your car is pulled in all the way and there's space behind, as the gate will close automatically after a minute. For weekly and monthly guests our price per night is discounted by 30-40%. This reduced rate includes electricity of R500 per week, ou average usage (in the prepaid meter). Once this is depleted it is the guest's responsibility to top up the meter. We also provide two gas heaters, with one 9kg each cylinder per visit.
